Welcome to the CWD online tracking system

Bovine tuberculosis:
The province is conducting mandatory bovine tuberculosis (bovine TB) surveillance of draw elk harvested in WMZ 37 and elk and white-tailed deer harvested during the regular seasons in WMZ 48 in 2024-25. Hunters are asked to submit heads to a designated CWD drop-off location within one month from the time the animal was harvested. Hunters can register using the link below and submit heads for both bovine TB and CWD testing at any regular CWD drop-off location. For more information visit (saskatchewan.ca/bovinetb)

This website is designed to allow hunters to generate a CWD tracking tag on-line and submit the labelled samples at either Ministry offices, specified drop off locations. All samples MUST be labelled with the CWD tracking number that will be generated after filling out the form. Please ensure you bring a copy of your tracking number with you when you drop off your sample for testing. All information provided on this website will be added to our database and allow hunters to check their test results on-line.

* The last day for sample drop off for CWD testing for the 2024-25 hunting season is Sunday, January 19th, 2025.  We will not be accepting submissions after this date.

** Please submit samples in a rigid plastic container. Submission in plastic bag may result in damage to specimen.
